*Salah🔈: I'm Not at 💫Messi & CR7's Level - Yet❗*

Mohamed Salah insists he cannot be compared with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, as he is yet to consistently perform over a prolonged period of a number of years.

Salah has been in incredible form in the 2017-18 season, scoring 32 goals in just 36 Premier League appearances, thus setting a new record for the amount of goals scored in a 38-game campaign.

He has won a host of awards, too, collecting the Golden Boot, the Premier League Player of the Year prize, the FWA Footballer of the Year and the PFA Player of the Year awards.

However, Salah is insistent that he has yet to reach the level of either La Liga icon.

"Not at all," he told Egypt Today when asked if he was bothered by the comparisons.

"But I don’t want to say that I am happy with these kinds of comparisons, because each of them was at top level for 10 or 11 years. Their performance level is stable.

"Yet, I need to maintain my high-performance level for many seasons. I hope I can do so. Definitely, they are great players."

*Mikel Arteta & Julian Nagelsmann 🔝 Arsenal's Wishlist🙏*

Mikel Arteta and Julian Nagelsmann have emerged as the front-runners for the Arsenal manager's job, as per reports.

Arteta, currently Pep Guardiola's assistant at Manchester City, and Hoffenheim manager Nagelsmann head the queue after Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri said he would be staying at Juventus unless he was sacked.

As things stand, it is understood Arsenal have not made an official approach yet for club legends Patrick Vieira or Thierry Henry.

Former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique is reportedly interested in succeeding Arsene Wenger at the Emirates, but his wage demands are putting Arsenal off.

The club are expected to begin the interview process this week in the hope a new manager will be in place before the start of the World Cup on June 14.

*BREAKING💥: Thomas Tuchel Announced as PSG🗼 Coach*

Former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel has been announced as the new coach of Ligue 1 outfit Paris St. Germain.

The German coach will succeed Unai Emery who will leave the club at the end of the season. The 44-year-old has coached the likes of Augsburg II, Mainz and Dortmund where he won the DFB-Pokal in the 2016-17 season.

The Ligue 1 champions had a disappointing campaign in the UEFA Champions League, losing out to Real Madrid in the prequarter-finals which ultimately led to Emery's departure.

He was chosen by PSG over a list of candidates reported to have included Juventus' Massimiliano Allegri, Chelsea's Antonio Conte, Tottenham Hotspur's Mauricio Pochettino -- a former PSG captain as a player -- and Andre Villas-Boas.

His task will be to manage a dressing room full of high-profile personalities including Neymar, Edinson Cavani, Marco Verratti etc.

*Doping💉: Peru Captain Guerrero Banned🚫 from World Cup*

Peru captain Paolo Guerrero has been suspended from this summer's World Cup because of a positive doping test.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport has upheld an appeal by the World Anti-Doping Agency to extend Guerrero's six-month FIFA ban, which expired this month.

CAS says Guerrero will be banned for 14 months which lasts until January.

The 34-year-old was set to captain Peru at its first World Cup appearance since 1982.

Guerrero tested positive for benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine, at a World Cup qualifying game against Argentina in October.

His lawyers argued the stimulant had not been performance enhancing, and was accidentally consumed in contaminated tea.

*Israeli Club⚽ Renames Itself to Honour Donald Trump🇺🇸*

Ahead of the inauguration of the United States' embassy in Jerusalem on Monday, the city's most historic football club renamed itself in president Donald Trump's honour.

The new branding will see Beitar Trump Jerusalem contest the Ligat ha'Al, with the club praising the "courageous" head of state.

Last December, the president went against global consensus by recognising Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

"For 70 years Jerusalem has been awaiting international recognition, until president Donald Trump, in a courageous move, recognised Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Israel," read an official statement from Beitar, who did not clarify whether the change of name would be permanent.

"The chairmen of the club, the owner Eli Tabib and the executive manager Eli Ohana have decided to add to the club's title the name of the American president who made history, and from now on will be called Beitar Trump Jerusalem."

Beitar have won six Ligat ha'Al titles and are set to finish the 2017-18 season as runners-up to Hapoel Be'er Sheva.

*Liverpool Blow as Ox⭐ Ruled Out Until November🙆*

Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been ruled out until November having undergone knee surgery.

The England international will certainly miss the World Cup this summer, but he may also miss the first three months of the 2018-19 campaign.

Oxlade-Chamberlain sustained ligament damage during the club's Champions League semi-final clash with AS Roma.

The 24-year-old has since gone under the knife and, while it was a success, he is facing a prolonged period on the sidelines.

The news will come as a bitter blow to the Reds, with Oxlade-Chamberlain enjoying something of a career resurgence under Jurgen Klopp.

Joining the club from Arsenal for £40 million ($54.3m) last summer, the midfielder chipped in with five goals and eight assists in all competitions prior to his injury, with Liverpool reaching the Champions League final and securing a top-four finish.

Danilo and Taison have joined Neymar in Brazil’s squad for World Cup 2018.
