We are in an age where people have perfected the art of 'packaged speaking', learnt the science of conviction and have mastered the theories of selling things they don't use.
When I write, I choose topics I can relate to, either because I have experienced it or have an in depth knowledge of what I'm writing about.
It's funny when I see certain posts on some topics by persons who have no right to talk about them.
How can I write to you about getting rich when I'm broke?
How can I encourage you on successful marriage when I've never been married or when I'm divorced?
How can you teach me about leading when you have issues with being led?
How can you talk to me about being right when you're always wrong?
Let's Stop falling for sweet mouth and oratory prowess.
Not everyone has the right to speak to you on every topic. Let them earn that space.
Do they have the fruits of what they are speaking to you about?
Choose who you listen to carefully.
If I like a coach, it's not because of how well he can speak, but how many things he tells me about that are evident in his life.
Don't follow someone based on what he said he can give. Follow based on what you have SEEN him give.
Don't follow someone who has crammed the map.
Follow the one who has been there.
Your godfriend,
Aiyenigba Tobi.
Rise and do something...now!
